This year’s annual dinner will be taking place on Friday 9th June 2023 from 7pm to Midnight at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Caversham Bridge, Richfield Avenue, Reading, RG1 8BD.

Members Only Early bird Tickets: £45 (must be purchased before 28 April 2023)
Members Standard Tickets: £55 (available from 28 April 2023 until 6pm on 26 May 2023)
Non-Members Tickets: £75 (available until 6pm on 26 May 2023)

Smoked Dill Salmon – with marinated beetroot and citrus crème fraiche (GF)
Ham Hock Terrine – with plum and apple chutney, and toasted bread (GF, DF)
Leek and Potato Soup (V, Ve, GF, DF)
Mains
Lemon and Thyme Cornfed Chicken Breast – with mustard mash and a tarragon cream sauce (GF)
Roasted Seabass Fillet – with dauphinoise potatoes, green beans, and a lemon cream sauce (can be made GF)
Roasted Vegetable Tartlet – with red pepper coulis, arugula leaves and a basil pesto
Baked Aubergine -with roasted vegetables (GF)
Desserts
Toffee and Honeycomb Cheesecake – with Chantilly cream (V)
Lemon Tart – with raspberries (V)
Fresh Fruit Salad – with mango sorbet (V, Ve, GF)

Dress code: Lounge Suits and Cocktail Dresses
After party: For those that like a little dancing there will be a disco at the venue after the speeches for you to dance the night away.
Parking: Parking will be free for guests, but you need to register your vehicle in advance. Please include your vehicle registration number when booking your tickets if you intend to drive to the dinner.
Drinks: We will endeavour to arrange a suitable selection of red wine, white wine, Pimms, lager and soft drinks on each table according to your selection at booking. Please note, if no preference is indicated at the time of booking, we will supply an even mix of the alcoholic drinks available; soft drinks must be specifically booked.
Seating: We try to satisfy people’s seating requirements where possible. If you wish to sit with any particular firm or individuals, please note this on the seating request at the time of booking. Please note, if no preference is indicated, we will endeavour to provide a mix of solicitors and barristers at the table but seating you with another member of your firm or chambers where possible.
Guests: You and your firm are welcome to invite guests to join you at the dinner who may not usually receive an invitation from the Society. We would ask that any guests that attend are connected to family law and respect that the event is to network and socialise with others in the local legal network.
